Before you choose.
Is this a feasibility study for my own site?
No. It is one sample reference case for a self-service laundromat in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida, in US dollars over 10 years. It is not a custom study, lender approval or return forecast.
Will changing the workbook update the report?
The report is fixed. Changing the workbook does not update it. Word and PDF always show the documented sample scenario; to test your own assumptions, use the workbook in Professional or Premium.
Which spreadsheet software was checked?
The supplied default example was checked in LibreOffice Calc 24.2.7.2 and tested in Microsoft Excel for Mac 16.113.3. No other applications have been tested, including Excel for Windows and Google Sheets. After opening the file, confirm that the Results status line reads “Input checks: all passed” before relying on any value.
Why is the example result negative?
In the sample scenario the project NPV is negative and the IRR is “Undefined” because the cash flows never change sign. These are valid results of the stated example assumptions; no input was changed to improve them.
How do I start after downloading?
Unzip the package and start with 00_START-HERE.txt. It lists every file and explains where to enter your own figures and where to read the results.
Does Professional or Premium include the Starter files?
No. Each package contains its own report. Professional and Premium include their sources and assumptions as Annex A inside the report; Starter has a separate Sources Annex.
